Description

Shepherds milk cows, shear sheep, and slaughter domesticated animals.

However, only the feudal lord can tame wild animals. To do this, you need to place a rope in your inventory, select the target animal (key E), and tame it (key Z or the button in the bottom-right menu). After that, you can take the animal to a suitable location and leave it there by pressing the taming button again.

Animal will graze near the area where you leave them. Don't bring too many animals to one field — they will start to starve over time. You can choose a priority resource for shepherds to collect in the edicts.

Shepherds work in slaughterhouses. You can prioritize resource collection and limit minimum herd size or minimum age of animals for slaughter there. Shepherds also loot the remains of domesticated animals (ignoring loot marks) and fill feeders for animals.

Dexterity is an important characteristic for shepherds.
