Profession
Balancing peasants' professions is one of the main aspects of the game.
Keep in mind which characteristics are the most important for each profession when selecting a profession for a peasant.
If a peasant has no tasks or resources associated with his main profession, he switches to his secondary profession. If the peasant has no tasks associated with his second profession, he goes to the main square. While working in his second profession, the peasant will periodically check for jobs associated with his first profession and will automatically switch back if any new tasks become available.
You can change a profession from the peasant info menu or from the list of peasants in the city info menu (Key V). You can also find profession statistics there (information about peasant distribution by profession).
