Our village is in the wilderness, so you will sometimes encounter beasts (only as events):
- Wolves: they love to hunt easy prey like your animals. But they may also attack people when they are hungry. Wolves have a very fast attack and deal medium damage. - Bears: they will feast on any edible contents of your chests. But they may also attack animals and people when they are very hungry. Bears have a slow attack but deal monstrous damage.
Don't ignore beasts on the map. They will deplete your resources, and may also attack your peasants when you're not expecting. Beasts do not distinguish between your people and your enemies.
You should not attack beasts head-on. Use bows, walls, traps, and your wits to show them who the most dangerous beast on the planet is.
