New page

Night always comes after day, so don't forget to illuminate your village.

You and your peasants get penalties to move speed, attack speed, and work efficiency in non-illuminated places. So don't forget your torches at night.

Keep in mind that torches can be used up, so it is always worth having a small stockpile of them for nighttime.

Illuminating buildings (braziers, bonfires) provides great illumination. Some production buildings like the kitchen or smelting furnace also provide illumination, but much less. You can open the lighting map by pressing (Key L).

Moonlight can help your village, but not every night. Be prepared for moonless nights and pitch darkness.
